2013 School Resources (All Ages)

Happy New Year, Welcome back to a new year of schooling. May your year continue to be full of joy and blessings as you continue your schooling in this new year.

Most schoolers have already started back from break, some of us are still on break until Monday. Whew... A new year awaiting new greater adventures for our school.

Grammar Online:

1::  Grammar Ninja - Parts of Speech learning while playing games online for FREE. There are 3 levels of difficulty to choose from: Beginner Ninja – nouns and verbs only , Skilled Ninja – nouns, verbs, articles, adjectives, and adverbs and Master Ninja – all parts of speech.
This site is for Elementary and up.

4::  KISS Grammar Site -  offers free grammar curriculum based on the KISS approach to teaching grammar. In short, the KISS approach focuses on syntax (sentence structure) or the meaning behind a sentence.

Site Disclosure:
KISS Grammar is a specific set of grammatical terms and an instructional sequence for teaching students how any word in any English sentence functions to convey meaning. As such, it addresses questions of errors, style, and logic that most approaches to grammar cannot touch.

There are four levels of free KISS Grammar Workbooks. Each level has materials for multiple grades.
  • Level 1 – 2nd-11th grades
  • Level 2 – 3rd-11th grades
  • Level 3 – 4th-11th grades
  • Level 4 – 6th-11th grades

2::  InnerBody - Looking for interacting Human Body Learning? Here is a great site to check out. Here you can cover all 13 major anatomical systems. InnerBody Explorer uses hundreds of 3D CAD views to take you on tour of the human body. With InnerBody, human anatomy can be explored by system, a body region, or by specific body part. The male and female reproductive systems are covered, so if that is something you don’t want your child to study yet, you should remain at the computer and help guide them as they explore the inner body.
