Teaching Music with No Curriculum - Super Site Ref.

I had to share these sites with you. I am eager to do this with my children. If you are interested in teaching music but are not sure how to go about it. Here are some DEFINTE sites you will want to bookmark that will help you.  Easy part about it, you do not have to go out and buy curriculum just yet. If you are strapped on money, the following sites have some super, I did say super and I mean super awesome tips and ideas on how to teach music in a fun filled way as well as using items you may have laying around your house or items that are not as pricey as it would be buying curriculum and any additional add ons.

  1. Piano Is Fun - Note Learning Music Game

Super Blogs with some super great ideas. I especially love the 2 songs Music For Little Learners posted, Noted below:

To the tune of the ABC song sing

ABCDEFG these are the notes on the piano keys.
There’s no H I J or K . Only seven notes lead the way.
ABCDEFG these are the notes on the piano keys.

It is also super helpful for your students to be able to say the piano alphabet backwards so here’s a song for that.

To the tune of London Bridge:

GFEDCBA, CBA, CBA
GFEDCBA the piano keys backwards
I can play them up and down, up and down, up and down
I can play them up and down, But I like them best backwards.
GFEDCBA, CBA, CBA
GFEDCBA the piano keys backwards!
