Artistic Pursuit Review

We had a chance to review for ARTistic Pursuit Inc.  This program we reviewed is the  K-3rd Grade Level, Volumes 1-8. This program offers children the tools they need to be creative in the lessons they are learning. With hands on fun doing projects that kids enjoy doing while working at their own pace.

ARTistic Pursuit Inc. offers a variety of art material for grades PreK to Highschool. You can view some of the products they have click this attached link.

For this review we used the Middle Ages book. This book works around the early Migration Period through to the Gothic architecture of France. Included in this hardcovered book is 18 medieval art lessons with 2 dvds that include 6 video lessons and a supplies list that goes to each lesson.

In my house I have two with an eye for art. One is extremely dedicated and particular on her art the other is just doodling and experimenting her journey in the art but both are very good. Though this book was for my youngest, my middle daughter stole the book first and started working through it. The below is a picture of the Mosiac lessonof the ballerina. The pieces she worked with were really tiny and she again was very particular on her picture. Again noting how this book allows the child to be creative with their art. You can see the pictures below the different times as she worked her mosiac art.

An other lesson was the art of instructing. Here we sat down and discussed the lesson and then give the detailed information to be drawn, obviously  it was of an animal. My daughter visualized what she heard and then drew what she saw. She was pleased with how it turned out but was picky on a few of the details. She liked this lesson because it allowed her to be creative with someone elses details.

I have used ARTistic Pursuits Inc. in the nkpast and reviewed for them several years back. I really enjoy their material and I believe my girls enjoyed this book. Others reviewed various materials and you can read what they have to say by clicking the attached link.
